Authority And Purpose Of This Web Site:
    This web site was authorized by the Lord's New Testament Baptist Church located in Decatur,  Alabama.   The purpose of this web site is to declare to the world God's free and unmerited grace and to instruct and edify those who have  been enabled by the Blessed Holy Spirit to own Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour.
    To take a stand for the truth necessitates taking a stand against error. It is not the plan nor the desire of Philadelphia Baptist Church to be contentious, decisive or offensive. We do however, feel a divinely mandated responsibility to "... speak thou the things which become sound doctrine" (Titus 2:1) and "earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints". (Jude  3)
    It is our prayerful desire that at the Master's soon return He will find us " Contending For The Faith With The Right Motive ". PBC
