PRAYER LETTER FOR FEBRUARY, 2010

Friday, March 05, 2010
Dear Pastors, Churches, Friends and Loved Ones:
“All that are with me salute thee. Greet them that love us in the faith. Grace be with you all. Amen” (Titus 3:15).
March is here, but looking through the window one would think it is still January...  We are looking forward to spring time, to make an extended mission trip to the South and East of Romania.  We plan to visit a total of six cities, among which is Bucharest, the capital of Romania.  We have two invitations from new people who contacted us.  One of them told us that they (he and a couple of others) also “keep the old Baptist faith.”  We would appreciate it if you will join in prayer with us for this trip as well as for all those whom we shall visit.
We continue to travel to Filiasi for service. Winter made portions of the road almost impracticable, but we are thankful for being still able to visit the brethren there.  We are also expecting a visit from several university students that study in Timisoara who are interested in the doctrines of grace and church truth.  We met them last fall and we were impressed with their interest in God’s Word.  We are praying that their visit will be spiritually profitable for them and for us, too.  Remember them and their visit in your prayers.
The translation and the production of literature are going well.  The literature stock was down, and we have worked on reprinting many publications.  Now we have a couple of new publications almost finished, a sermon of Spurgeon and an outline study on the nature of the New Testament church.
We are praising the Lord for the wonderful way He is working and answering prayers in the different areas of this ministry, and we appreciate all your prayers and support, thanking you for taking part on this work.
    Brother Raul

    ON THE OKLAHOMA FRONT:
Transition Funds:  Special offerings for our transition to Oklahoma were received this month from Grace Missionary Baptist Church (Elder Raymond Ellis) of Marion, Illinois, Faith Baptist Church (Elder J.W. Carr) of Seffner, Florida, Old Paths Baptist Church (Elder Richard Perdue) of Marshville, North Carolina, The Sovereign Grace Baptist Church (Elder Steve Trescott) of Craigsville, West Virginia, and Grace Baptist Church (Elder Delbert Shults) of Stonefort, Illinois.  We do appreciate their help as we have many expenses yet ahead of us.  Thank you!  Your mission-mindedness and help to us is tremendously important and appreciated!
Van and Power Chair:  We located on the Internet a suitable 1997 Ford van and a used power chair. Most of our personal savings have gone to purchase these two needed items. The chair is now stored in our pastor’s garage and the van will be driven to Louisiana this month.  Elder Nathaniel Hille, pastor of the Sovereign Grace Baptist Church, Caldwell, Kansas has been a great help in inspecting, purchasing, insuring and licensing the van and, Lord willing, will be driving it to Louisiana for us. We do appreciate very much the great help that Brother Hille has been to us and our Church in the matter of doing the work involved in actually getting this van.
Gifts:  Members of our Church – the ladies in particular – have been very kind and thoughtful as well as generous in getting together some housewarming gifts for Janet and me in anticipation of our move to Oklahoma.  Our pastor and his wife have been a tremendous help in getting together some furniture for us and we do appreciate these things.  My brother and his wife, retired Sgt. Major Billy J. Cooper and Dorothy, of Clovis, New Mexico have given us some things they have – some are things that belonged to our mother.  Everyone has and is being very helpful to us in this matter of getting set up in Oklahoma and we thank you, one and all.
Oklahoma Mission Support:  As we mentioned last month, two Churches are already giving to the Oklahoma mission work.  These funds are being kept for that work exclusively.  Plans are already under way to use some of those funds to purchase some literature and to pay the costs of printing some additional materials here in Romania for use in the new mission work.
Accounting:  As is our habit, all funds are accounted for on the financial report supplied to those who support these mission efforts.  Transition funds and Oklahoma mission funds are reported separately each month on the financial report.
Space always limits me in these prayer letters!  We do thank you for your financial support of the Romania work and also the Oklahoma mission.  Your interested and earnest prayers are the most important thing and we thank you for remembering us at the throne of grace before our Heavenly Father.  By these means you are partners in the work with us!
    Thank you!
Please pray for the Pughs, and for Brothers Raul and Aurel!
In the cause of God and truth.
