Dear Churches & Friends,
Greetings to each of you in His Name, that is above every name, our Precious Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ. I pray you are enjoying blessings and prosperity from our dear Lord as you serve Him in His appointed place for you.
The Church informed me a few months ago that Lillian and I were to come home to visit family and rest. We've been here 20 years and never have taken a vacation, yes, we have been to the States a few times but this was always to visit the supporting churches. We did see our family during those times but never for any length of time. Our grand children have grown, married and having children, without us knowing them.
On April 9 Lillian was hospitalized for 12 days with fluid buildup in her legs again. This time the fluid didn't come off as quickly as it did the last time, about 10 years ago. They have done all sorts of tests on her and changed her medications a number of times. Lord willing, it may be under control now. Continue to pray for her please.
After 75 years of age one has to have a complete physical and eye examination every year in order to keep your driver's license. This you have to pay yourself - not covered by the health insurance.
I visited all the mission points for the first time since last summer. Instead of going to Creighton, Sask., I met Dennis and Linda Brooks at Dennis's father's place in Choiceland, Sask. He is 85 years old. We had services Friday through Monday and a great time of fellowship, Praise ye the Lord. At Ponoka, Alberta the Clard family and their married children were there two days, we had service on Sunday, also did some teaching. At Fort Simpson Grace McAdam and daughter, Christina who were baptized last summer were there plus some other people. I hadn't been there for well over a year. This family has lived all over the North. Grace was saved through the tape ministry in February, 1993. This is the first time she has lived within driving range, all the other communities the only way in or out was either by flying or by boat. She has services in the home with her two daughters, teaching them, then using our tapes for the messages. This is how Christina came to know the Lord. Danielie wants to be baptized too. They are so appreciative for the privilege to have us come teach and preach in person. Do you realize what a privilege God has granted you to have a church, preacher and fellowship with brothers and sisters. Sister Grace and her girls have never had this, do we take these things for granted?
On May 31 I had an MRI on my back. I have multilevel degeneration disc disease which is most prominent at the lower lumbar region - this causing the nerves not telling the legs what to do, therefore a balance problem. My health otherwise is excellent, Praise the Lord. This balance problem is an inconvenience rather than a real problem, just a nuisance.

UPDATE FROM THE PASTOR,

Brother and Sister Mowris have finally arrived at their daughter's house in Pennsylvania. The trip was especially hard on Lillian and she had to spend much of the first week in bed to rest and recover from it. They are both resting and visiting with their family.
I have told them to relax and enjoy their family and not worry about anything. As of right now that is what they are doing.
We ask you to pray for them that this visit will both refresh and strengthen them.
I will ask Brother Wayne to send a letter soon with a report about the results of their last tests and doctor's visit, and I will send them to you as soon as I receive it.
