April 1, 2002 - June 30, 2002
Dear Church & Friends,
Greetings to each of you in that Name of Names, our Precious Saviour. the Lord Jesus Christ. I pray you are enjoying blessings and prosperity from our dear Lord as you serve him in His appointed place for you.
Sister Grace McAdam visited with the Mission a number of times this quarter. She was offered a job here with the Power Corp. (electric) on May 21 and she accepted if. Her bid for it was challenged the following week so the offer to her was withdrawn until the challenge was heard and a decision made. This took over 5 weeks. The challenge was refused so Sister McAdam has the job and will start work July 29.
All are praying with her for housing for her and her two girls. Christine, her oldest daughter had an MRI on June 26 in preparation for her surgery to correct her spinal cord. She will be operated on some time this fall. Please pray for her and the surgeon. THANKS!
Bob and Ruth Clark came up from Ponoka, Alberta to help us celebrate our mutual anniversaries. They spent a week with us and we had a wonderful tune of fellowship. They were saved years ago when I was holding services in Fort Providence.
At the young age of 75, and each year there after, the government here requires a health but we have to pay for it.
I left for Creighton, Sask., May 14 for services Friday night May 17 - 19. The three members of the Mission there attended all six services. We had a wonderful time of fellowship around the Word of God.
We are sending our tapes to a prisoner in southern PA. The Chaplain holds onto them before giving them to James. Pray that the Word will he effectual to the other prisoners and to the Chaplain.
Tanya Nyberg arrived here on June I. She has been a great help to Lillian, as she has not been able to keep up with the housework because of her health problems. Lillian's back and legs seem to he much better which is a great blessing. Praise the Lord.
All in one day the washer and dryer quit working plus the sewer plugged up. We may have to have if dug up and replace parts of it - We now have the washer and dryer working again so we are thankful for that.
Your many kindnesses to us is very much appreciated. We are so very thankful for your watch care over the Lord's work here. May His blessings rest on you and yours.
    Our Love In Christ Jesus
