Dear
Church and Friends,
Greetings to each of you in the name of our Saviour, The Lord Jesus Christ.
May His love and grace abound in each of you, causing you to prosper in
His Word, being profitable servants unto His honor and glory.
The work a Creighton, Sasketchewan with Dennis & Linda Brooks, also
Paul Rainville is being troubled by the evil one. First, Brother Rainville
is being negligent in attending the Bible Studies also the preaching, using
my tapes. It seems from his letters that others (not sound in the faith)
are having an influence on him. I have written numerous letters to him
concerning this, pointing out his responsibility to the Lord Jesus Christ
and His Word and His Church. Second, a missionary has moved into Flin Flon,
Manitoba which is a mile or so from Creighton. Both are small towns on
the border of Saskatchewan and Manitoba, one on one side, the other on
the other side. As far as I know he is sound in the faith doctrinally,
but he is trying to get them to join his church and be a part of his effort
in Flin Flon. I talked to Sister Brooks last Sunday, she told me he had
folded up his tent and gone back to Windsor, Ontario.
Sister Linda Brooks desired more Bible Study for herself. We are using
the Book of Romans and the lessons compiled by Elder Joseph M. Wilson.
She is doing very well, the study being very profitable to her.
My health is excellent except for the balance problem. Dr. George Lawrence,
a certified Iridologist, Herbalist. etc., that I saw on January 12 and
again on March 29 said he had contacted others in various fields of medicine.
He is going to check out Chelation therapy with a specialist in Texas,
then we'll go from there as the Lord leads.
Our snow is pretty well gone, but most of it was sucked up by the wind,
very little gone into the ground. They are expecting a bad year for fires
as we retained so little moisture from the snow. It has not even brought
over-flow on the rivers. That is water from melting snow flowing on the
ice in the rivers.
Lillian and I took a short holiday of 3 days to Hay River. The first time
Lillian has been out of Fort Smith this winter. The trips I make to the
preaching points are long and hard on her so for that reason and the need
of keeping the fire (furnace) going, she stays home through the winter.
The time away and for her to relax and rest was so good for her.
We Praise the Lord for you. Your many kindnesses to us is so appreciated,
we thank you for your thoughtfulness in praying, writing, sending cards
and supporting the Lord's work here in so many meaningful ways. May His
Grace abound in your lives, being useful in the vineyard He has you to
serve.
Our Love in Christ Jesus,
Wayne E. Mowris
