Dear Churches & Friends.
Greetings to you in the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Lamb of God, slain from the foundation of the world who loved us and washed us from our sins in His own blood. Glory be unto His Name. John 1:29, Revelation 1:5, I Peter 1:18-20
I visited Fort Simpson once each month of this quarter and held weekend services. Most of the time no one attended the services except the McAdam family, Grace, Christina and Danielle. Sister Grace is adjusting well,  growing in the Lord and receiving His blessings as she faithfully serves Him. She
considers it a great blessing to be able to tithe, before she was not allowed to. Continue to pray for her as she would like to be in Fort Smith where she could attend the Mission and be useful in its work, but she needs a well paying job to support her and the girls.
I had to go to the Subaru dealership in Edmonton to have some work done on the car which proved to be quite expensive. We had to have the tires replaced also. With the price of gasoline, it has been up to one dollar a liter, now it averages between 90.9 to 92.9 cents per liter here in the North. In Edmonton it was 65.9 to 68.9. This puts increased pressure on the budget.
On Feb. 19th I was in Yellowknife to be with Sister Christina and her mother. When she was to see a bone specialist concerning her spine, she has scoliosis. Sister Christina has seen this Dr. over the years. she is fifteen, and they would do nothing but take x-rays. Then the mother continued to ask if there wasn't something they could do. The Dad would never go with them nor show any interest in the child, neither would the Dr. show any concern for the Mother's questions. Therefore I went with them, saw the x-rays and was shocked at the curvature of her spine. I asked the Dr. questions as to why he hadn't given the mother any answers to her questions. He tried to brush me off but I insisted we have another Dr. examine her and the x-rays they had taken over the years. Finally we have an appointment with a Dr. in Edmonton who specializes with problems of the back and spine on April 24. I would ask you to be much in prayer for Christina and the Dr. that she be not crippled later in life. Thank you.
I mentioned Tanya Nyberg in my last letter. The devil in many ways has been giving her a rough time. She feels the need to leave Rosetown. Sask. She would like to come to Fort Smith where she could attend the Mission and receive baptism. Would you pray for her to this end, and that the Lord would direct her as to His will.
We had a wedding on March 30 at 4:00 PM of a young couple who addend the Mission but not on a regular basis. He asked if I would teach them the marriage lessons I have prepared over the years. I do not marry couples who do not or will not take time to learn what their responsibility to God and to one another is.
May our dear Lord's blessings rest on you and yours, causing you to bring Glory to His Name, honoring His Word and faithfully sharing the Word of Truth with others. We are so thankful and appreciative of your prayers, interest and support in so many ways of His work here.
By His Grace - Our Love
