Dear
Churches & Friends,
Greetings
to you in the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Name that is above every
name that is Named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to
come.
I have been going to Fort Simpson every month to hold services. Also to
help Sister Grace with the Estate, setting up budget, etc. Scott had no
will so she had to petition the court to appoint her the executor.
What a mess and expense when one does not plan ahead.
We held services at Creighton, Sk. In the early part of November, where
Brother and Sister Brooks live. You have to go down a very
steep ridge, and with my balance as it is, I couldn't do it, so
I got a motel room and held the services there from Friday to Monday. All
three members of our Church and Mission attended all the services.
The town here has been plowing our parking area for the first time this
year, which is much appreciated. They have always done this for the Roman
Catholic and Anglicans but never before for us. So we Praise the Lord.
We have three Bible Studies going at present and one on marriage for a
young couple planning on marrying in spring or early summer.
We had to buy three cord of wood this winter because I couldn't trust myself
with a chain saw. It was
very
expensive. That should be enough because I have some left over from last
winter. We will have to see if I can hire someone next spring to cut for
me, it would be cheaper. The three cord I bought, Brother Hill helped me
split it, what a blessing that log splitter is. Praise the Lord!!!
The first part of December I received a phone call from Tanya Nyberg in
Sask., She had in some
way
gotten hold of some of my preaching tapes, which she heard things she never
had been taught.
She
was in the worldwide Church of God, an Armstrong teaching on law, for some
20 years. Her
life
was a mess, divorces, children from all, confused and didn't know where
to turn. She asked me to
recommend
a church in her area, I told her there was none. Said she had been listening
to the tapes
over
and over for a month or so. She couldn't get up enough nerve to call until
she came to the place
she
had to. Then she talked for hours, please pray for her and her children.
We here Praise God and thank you for being used to get the Gospel of our
Lord Jesus to the People in the areas He has opened for us.
For the coming year may you prosper in Spiritual and physical health all
to His honor and Glory. May His Love and Grace abound in you and yours.
