"For of him, and through him, and to him, are all things: to whom be glory for ever. Amen." Romans 1:36Grace, mercy, and peace from God the Father, the Lord Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit. We trust that all is well with each one, while abiding in the riches of His grace and love.
It has been a summer of extremes here in Australia with severe flooding, cyclones, and heat waves. It is a reminder of creation’s travail, impending judgment, and of the Lord’s imminent return.
Having not heard anything for several months from the Immigration Department concerning our Permanent Visa applications, I called for an update. I was informed that the process can take a year or more for completion and that our application was under consideration. They told me that Permanent Visa applications require much more time to process than Temporary Visas.
The Lord’s work continues to go forward here with the faithfulness of the church members at Faith Baptist Church in Cobbitty and also through the distributing of Gospel pamphlets in various suburbs. We pray the Lord will be pleased to use this means to make the church known in the area, to bring visitors, and to save souls as it pleases Him.
The owner of the house that we are renting has decided to sell. Therefore, I have been busy trying to find a new place for Cyd and me to live. There seems to be more rental properties available at present compared to when we first arrived in the country at the end of 2009; however, they do not stay available for long. We are trusting that the Lord has a place already reserved for us, as we must move from our present residence by the first week in March.
