“Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost” (Romans 15:13).

    This past month we’ve experienced some mechanical difficulties with our digital duplicator that I am still trying to remedy.  The jamming problems seem to be growing worse and the print quality is not as I would like it to be.  I have removed the inner working parts, including the printing drum and am cleaning it all up with the hope that it will work more efficiently.  As of this writing I am still working to get it back together.  In spite of these difficulties, I have been able to distribute a large number of gospel pamphlets and also to speak with several people concerning the gospel, for which we thank the Lord.

    Cyd has traveled to the USA in order to see to some required blood tests that her doctor needs before her yearly appointment in August.  It was necessary for her to stop much of her treatment protocol for almost a month before she did the tests because her doctor wanted to see the true condition of her immune function.  That along with the travel has caused a setback in her health, but she is resting with family in New Mexico and we are thankful for God’s sustaining grace.

    I am also planning to travel to the USA in August in order to accompany her to her doctor’s appointment and to attend our son’s wedding early in September.  Although it will be a brief visit, we are thankful for the opportunity to see family and brethren once again.

    The brethren in Papua New Guinea are doing well and are making plans for a mission trip to the Highlands once again.
