Greetings from Australia in the name of God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ, which is our hope. We trust that all is well with each one.“But I am the LORD thy God, that divided the sea, whose waves roared: The LORD of hosts is his name.” Isaiah 51:15."For of him, and through him, and to him, are all things: to whom be glory for ever. Amen." Romans 1:36
We are striving
to continue on with the Lord’s work here in our area of
New South Wales and remain thankful to God for the privilege to serve
Him.
The church in Cobbitty is doing well as we continue to pray for
visitors,
the salvation of the lost, and for the Lord’s blessing upon our efforts
to spread the Gospel.
Sis. Chat Madeira
has traveled to the Philippines for a few weeks to assist
and minister to her mother and father. Her dad is aged and has
been
very ill with various infections for some time. Sis. Chat is
originally
from the Philippines and immigrated to Australia quite a number of
years
ago.
It is a blessing
to hear from the brethren in Papua New Guinea and to hear
that they are doing well. I spoke to Bro. Sande Kewa recently,
who
is a member of the church in Port Moresby. He works in the
Highlands
for a mining company and is only able to attend church in Port Moresby,
which is a coastal city, on his scheduled longer-days off. He
told
me that due to the competition among mobile phone companies, he can now
listen via his mobile phone to every Lord’s Day worship services for
less
than a dollar. Pastor Norman calls him and then sets his phone on the
pulpit.
Bro. Sande listens to the message while sitting in his room at the
mining
site in the Highlands. We are very thankful that this has worked
out and Bro. Sande has the desire to be a part of the worship services
even though his present work situation hinders him from being there
physically.
Love in Christ,
Brother Frank James
