"For of him, and through him, and to him, are all things: to whom be glory for ever. Amen." Romans 1:36“The eternal God is thy refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms:” (Deuteronomy 33:27a).
Greetings in the precious name of the Lord Jesus Christ.
It is a blessing to be able to continue to spread the message of our Lord Jesus Christ here in Australia. During this past year we have been privileged to distribute the gospel via pamphlets to over 7,000 homes, as well as having had several gospel articles printed in three area newspapers. Since putting the articles in the newspaper is expensive, we have recently been concentrating more on mail drops, using our own printing equipment. The pamphlets that we are now able to print are hand delivered to individual mail boxes in area neighborhoods. Humanly speaking it is a less efficient means of spreading the Good News; nevertheless, it does get the job done and provides opportunities for personal witness.
The Lord’s church in Port Moresby and Pastor Norman Malu will be having a conference starting on December 17. I am looking forward to being able to attend, the Lord willing. The opportunity to take part in the services and to see the brethren there once again will be a blessing. Brother Norman has informed me that a number of pastors and brethren from the Highlands have already arrived in order to attend some Bible courses that he is teaching before the conference.
The church here in Cobbitty recently sent a gift of two boxes of Bibles to the brethren in Papua New Guinea. Their willingness to assist them in this way is a great encouragement.
We are glad to report that Sis. Chat came through her surgery okay and is on the mend. The surgery was extensive as the surgeon found a total of nine tumors. However it was confirmed from lab results that all of the cancer was removed, for which we thank the Lord. She suffered considerable pain and swelling right afterwards, but is doing much better now. All of the prayers offered on her behalf, as well as continued prayers for her recovery and reconstructive surgery, are much appreciated.
It was a blessing to enjoy a visit from our son Stephen and Katie Shaw, who traveled with Cyd upon her return flight to Australia.
Thank you all for your continued prayers, love, encouragement, and support for the Lord’s work in Australia and Papua New Guinea.
Love in Christ,
Brother Frank James
