"For of him, and through him, and to him, are all things: to whom be glory for ever. Amen." Romans 1:36Greetings from Australia in the precious name of the Lord Jesus Christ. We hope that all is well with each one.
Our effort to distribute the Gospel is continuing, for which we thank the Lord. Our digital copier is still working fairly well, although it jams from time to time and has a few other minor operational problems. Nevertheless, it remains a very important part of our work, as it has been for many years.
The church in Cobbitty is doing well and we continue to enjoy the blessings of the Lord in the services. However, it became necessary this past month for the church to exercise discipline upon two of the members for their abandonment of the assembly. Our prayers continue to be with them, and we remain hopeful that the Lord will bless the faithfulness of those remaining and further build up His church here both spiritually and numerically according to His will.
Sister Chat will be having her surgery early in the month of November (8th), so your prayers for her, her family, and the surgeons are very much appreciated at this time. The surgery is to remove some small cancerous tumors in the eyesocket part of her face.
Cyd is scheduled to return to Australia the first week in November. The appointment with her doctor revealed some improvement in her heart condition; however, the tests also revealed that her disease in general has progressed further. Nevertheless, we remain very thankful for the treatment that she is receiving, believing that her illness would be much more debilitating without it. We are also very thankful as well for your prayers for her.
Our sincere thanks for your continued prayers, love, encouragement, and support for the Lord’s work in Australia and Papua New Guinea.
Love in Christ,
Brother Frank James
