"For of him,
and through him, and to him, are all things: to whom be glory for ever.
Amen." Romans 1:36
Greetings in the precious name of God the Father, the Lord Jesus Christ,
and the Holy Spirit. We trust that all is well and that each one
is enjoying the abundant blessings of the Lord.
Our trip to Mexico early in this month went real well and we enjoyed a
refreshing time of fellowship and preaching. Matthew and I enjoyed
the hospitality of the Bert Craft family, who were very gracious hosts
to us. It was a privilege for us to have the opportunity to become
acquainted with some of our brethren in that country, and the special services
were a blessing to both of us.
The remainder of this month has been spent primarily on preparations to
return to the mission field in Papua New Guinea. I found it necessary
to construct a small, insulated storage shed on the church property at
Olmstead. It will be used to store what household items we have here
in the States. I am also building a small shipping crate in order
to ship over some books, household goods, and mission supplies. Cyd
and I remain occupied in packing and preparing to move out of our rental
house by the middle of May. After brief stops to visit with family
in NM and CA, we plan to leave for PNG in the latter part of May.
Many thanks to our home church for the purchase of our airfare back to
the mission field.
It has been a blessing and privilege to visit with so many of the Lordís
churches during this past year. I remain thankful to the Lord not
only for your continued prayers and support, but also for all the kindness
and hospitality that has been shown to Cyd and me as we have traveled.
I also want to express my apology to those that I did not have time or
opportunity to visit with during this furlough. Thank you also for
your prayers and support for us and for the Lordís work in PNG.
Since we will be traveling back to PNG and getting established there again,
we will not have access to e-mail for a while. We will do our best
to get our mission report out on time next month, but we may have to send
it stateside via postal mail instead of e-mail, so that it may be a little
slower getting to you. We hope that this will only be for one month
until we get set up again in Port Moresby. Your prayers for our safe
travel and for getting settled once again are much appreciated.
Love in Christ,
Brother Frank James
